Let's travel together on your road to recovery!
We are a level 1, second step residential recovery community. That means we are open to people who have completed at least a 30-day treatment program, are in recovery, and looking for a soft place to land that offers more freedom, while still providing a safe place to live and grow. Our program is based on the 4Hs. These were identified by our founder, Dr. Edgar Archambeau, MD, as the four most vital components for success in long term recovery and re-integration into society. They are Housing, Healthcare, Helpers, and Hope. We feel that an "in between spot" between treatment and re-entry into society gives persons recovering from SUD a better chance to prepare for life in the real world. We are a family-like community incorporating community living, community service, education and job training, animal care and gardening as therapeutic endeavors, and communal dining. We encourage recovery group meeting attendance. daily devotionals, worship (not required but encouraged), furthering education if desired, working with peer support, and working as a team on projects. We are MAR friendly and believe in all pathways of recovery.
These components include:
Housing: Recovery friendly safe and secure place to live.
Healthcare: Access to good healthcare, both physical and mental, along with ability to get appropriate medications.
Helpers: Our fellow residents, members of recovery groups, and our peer supports, and family. "The opposite of addiction is connection." We also provide accountability via random drug screening, set visiting hours and curfews, and weekly progress meetings.
Hope: Assistance with regaining driving privileges, opportunities to get GEDs and HS diplomas, Certified Peer Support Training, assistance with record expungement and pardons, job training opportunities, etc. We are also certified by the state of South Carolina dept of Pardons, Probation and Parole as a residence for persons on probation or under GPS monitoring.
We welcome all persons seeking ongoing recovery, including veterans and single mothers or fathers with children.
We love our customers, so feel free to visit during normal business hours.
